Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella was bitterly disappointed with their loss at the hands of Sampdoria as they failed to grab their chance of moving up to third place on the Serie A table.
“If we look at the table, then it was a missed opportunity to go into third place. It’s a shame, but the team did everything it could and have to push forward hoping luck turns our way,” Montella said, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“The pitch cannot be treated as an alibi, but obviously a field like that is going to be more damaging to a side that relies on technique and passing to feet.”
