Aston Villa center-back Philippe Senderos, 29, will not be available for selection in the Villa Park outfit’s Premier League encounter with Robert Martinez’s Everton this weekend after he picked up a thigh injury while on duty with Switzerland.
The defender sustained the injury in his country’s 1-0 loss to Slovenia.
“Philippe has a thigh muscle strain. We’ll have to see how it reacts,” Swiss team doctor Cuno Wetzel said, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“Normally a player is out of action for some time with a muscle injury of this type.”
